LYNCHBURG, Va. – Senior Veljko Krstic and sophomore Rafael Ymer earned singles victories over a pair of opponents from Virginia on Saturday at the Liberty Dual.

Krstic prevailed in three sets over Virginia's Stiles Brockett, 6-7, 6-3, 6-4. The senior is unbeaten through the first two days of the event with two wins in singles and a victory in doubles.

Ymer toppled Virginia's Mans Dahlberg, also coming from a set down for a 3-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory. It was Ymer's first victory in the event and his second singles triumph of the fall season.

Jack Curtis joined Krstic with his second singles win of the weekend, defeating UNCW's Martin Mazev 3-6, 6-2, 6-1. It was his second victory of the fall from a set down and the first to come in a full third set.

Alonso Roca and Nick Fisk rounded out Elon's victories on day two, with both coming through in straight sets.

Play at the Liberty Dual will conclude tomorrow, with matches beginning at 9 a.m.
