ELON – The Elon women's golf team will play four consecutive days of golf across two events starting Saturday at the North Carolina Challenge Cup, followed by the three-day Ironwood Invitational on Sunday through Tuesday.
The North Carolina Challenge Cup, a one-day, 36-hole event hosted by the Tar Heels at Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill, will see the Phoenix play alongside UNCG, UAB and Presbyterian in a 13-team field that also includes CAA counterparts UNCW and William & Mary. The action begins with an 8:45 a.m. ET shotgun start.
East Carolina will host the Ironwood Intercollegiate at Ironwood Golf & Country Club in Greenville, with the 16-team field playing 18 holes each day. Sunday's first round gets underway with a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start.
