Bracket Set For 2026 CAA Softball Championships

Sixth-Seeded Elon Faces No. 3 Seed Campbell On Wednesday

RICHMOND – The bracket has been set for the 2026 CAA Softball Championships as the four-day competition is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 6, and run through Saturday, May 9. All championship contests from Hunt Softball Park in Elon, N.C., will be streamed live on FloCollege.
 
Hofstra earned the top seed for the tournament, winning the North Division with a league-best 21-3 CAA record. UNCW clinched the No. 2 seed and split the South Division title at 18-6 with Campbell.
 
Campbell and Stony Brook were the No. 2 teams in the South and North Divisions, respectively. The Camels enter the postseason as the No. 3 seed, while the Seawolves are the No. 4 seed.
 
Charleston and Elon clinched the remaining at-large berths, with the Cougars earning the No. 5 seed and the Phoenix earning the No. 6 seed.
 
No. 6 seed and host Elon opens the tournament against No. 3 Campbell on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., the second game of the championship's opening day. No. 4 Stony Brook and No. 5 Charleston kick off the postseason with a noon contest.
