ELON – The Elon women's golf team recorded the 14th-highest team grade point average among all NCAA Division I programs during the 2025-26 academic year, the Women's Golf Coaches Association announced Thursday.
 
The Phoenix posted a 3.875 team GPA to earn a place among the WGCA's top 25 Division I programs as part of the organization's annual All-Scholar Team GPA Award announcement.
 
The award recognizes the women's collegiate golf programs with the highest collective team GPAs during the academic year and includes every student-athlete on each program's roster.
 
Elon finished immediately behind Chattanooga, which recorded a 3.8852 GPA, and ahead of Vanderbilt, which posted a 3.865 GPA. Houston Christian led Division I with a 3.947 team GPA.
 
The WGCA, founded in 1983, represents more than 750 women's collegiate golf coaches throughout the United States and works to educate, promote and recognize its members and the student-athletes they represent.
