Sophomore (2024-25)
Named to the All-CAA First Team for doubles and All-CAA Second Team for singles • Won 16 singles matches playing the Nos. 2-4 spots • Named CAA Player of the Week on Jan. 28 following three wins at the No. 4 singles position to start the season • Played the final eight matches of the season at the No. 2 singles spot • Won CAA regular season singles contests against Campbell, North Carolina A&T and College of Charleston before clinching Elon's 4-3 regular season triumph against William & Mary with a three-set win at the No. 2 position • Picked up a 6-2, 6-1 victory at the No. 2 position in the CAA Tournament semifinal win over Charleston • Finished second on the team with 18 doubles wins, all coming with Simone Bergeron • The duo was tabbed CAA Doubles Team of the Week on Jan. 28 after they won their first three matches together at the No. 2 spot • The tandem won 12 straight matches to close the regular season and into the conference tournament • Their last seven appearances together came at the No. 1 position • Won regular season CAA matches with Bergeron against Campbell, Charleston and William & Mary • Went 2-0 at No. 1 doubles with Bergeron in the CAA Tournament to help secure both doubles points for Elon, winning 6-0 in the semifinals versus Charleston before a 6-3 win against William & Mary in the championship match • Played No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles in Elon's NCAA Tournament match against No. 10 Tennessee • Added six wins in both singles and doubles during the fall seasonÂ
Freshman (2023-24)
Tied older sister Lizette for the most singles wins on the team (15) while also adding 13 victories in doubles • Won two matches at the No. 2 singles spot, nine at the No. 3 position and four at the No. 5 spot • Won conference matches against Hampton, Campbell, UNCW and North Carolina A&T in the regular season before delivering singles victories in the CAA Tournament against Monmouth and Drexel • Won 11 matches in straight sets • All 13 of her doubles wins came with partner Madison Cordisco, 12 of which were at the No. 2 position • Won regular season conference doubles contests against Hampton, Campbell, College of Charleston and North Carolina A&T • Picked up a win with Cordisco at the No. 2 spot in Elon's CAA Tournament victory over Monmouth • Clinched a dramatic doubles point for Elon with a tiebreak victory alongside Cordisco at Charleston • Won against No. 67 VCU with Cordisco to secure the doubles point for the Phoenix • Earned CAA Doubles Team of the Week recognition with Cordisco on Feb. 20 after the pairing went 2-0 in Elon's wins against Gardner-Webb and Shaw • Received Elon's Top Newcomer award at the 2024 Elon Awards
Prior to Elon
Earned her first career ITF junior singles title in 2022 at the J4 Leon Tournament, as she won 12 straight sets to win the event • Has nine ITF doubles titles, including three in 2023 • Reached a career-high ITF singles ranking of 278 in January • Represented Mexico to play the Kid's Cup in France and the Masters COTECC in Guatemala

Full name is Mariana Reding Aguirre • Daughter of Juan Luis Reding Bravo and Lizette Aguirre Lara • Older sister Lizette Reding played for Elon from 2020-24 and played alongside Mariana during the 2023-24 season • Also has a younger brother, Juan
