2008: Set an Elon single-season record with 32 appearances as a true freshman …Went 0-1 with a 4.82 ERA … Hurled 37.1 innings, striking out 34 and holding opponents to a .218 batting average … Did not allow a run in 23 of his 32 outings … Allowed just one run in his first 17.2 innings of work … Threw 2.2 shutout innings, striking out two, in his collegiate debut in a win over La Salle … Fanned four in 2.2 shutout innings to help Elon to a league win on the road at Furman … Was part of a bullpen that sparked the Phoenix to a 38-3 record when leading after six innings.
