Before Elon: Participated as a member of the 2011 Icelandic Ladies National Golf Team and for the Icelandic Junior National Golf Team from 2007-11 … Represented Iceland in the 2011 European Ladies Amateur Team Championship in Austria and again at the European Ladies Club Trophy in Greece in both 2010 and 2011 … Represented her nation at the European Young Masters in France in 2009 and in Hungary in 2010 as well as at the International Children's Games in San Francisco, Calif., in 2008 … Achieved a third-place ranking in the Icelandic Women's Golf Tournament Series and collected the "Brightest Future in Icelandic Women's Golf" honor … Became the youngest player to win a tournament in the Icelandic Ladies Golf Series in 2010 when she won the series' final event of the year … Recognized with the 2010 "Outstanding Achievement in Junior Golf" award by the Reykjavik Sports Union … Participated in the 2009 U.S. Junior Masters and won the Icelandic Junior Match Play Championship in 2008 …Helped her home club of Reykjavik GC to the Icelandic Women's Team Championship in both 2010 and 2011 as well as the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Icelandic Junior Team Championship titles … Graduated among the top 10 in her class at The Commercial College of Iceland.
