2018: Served as a team captain...Started all 11 games at center...Helped Elon amass a season average of 199.5 yards per game on the ground to finish second in the conference in the category...Also blocked for a running game that scored 22 of the team's 31 touchdowns on the season...Played a big role in keeping the quarterback upright with the offensive line allowing just 16 sacks on the season.

Prep: Named to the 2014 all-county team…Twice claimed all-region honors for coach Mark Fleetwood…Team captain…Earned his program’s offensive lineman of the year honor…Collected offensive honor roll accolades three times…Named the Gwinnett County Player of the Month…Recorded 111 pancake blocks as a senior…Participated in the 2014 Gwinnett All-Star Game…Helped his prep squad to state playoff appearances in both 2013 and 2014…Also captained his lacrosse team.

Personal: Son of former University of New Orleans All-American and Major League Baseball player Mark and Misty Higgins…Brother Andrew played football at both Tulane University and Tennessee Tech University…Born July 8, 1997.
