2017-18: Appeared in 16 games throughout her rookie campaign, averaging 1.6 points per contest in 6.0 minutes per game…Shot 55.6 percent from the floor, hitting 10-of-18 shots while going 4-for-6 from three-point range… Played a season-high 11 minutes and scored five points with three rebounds and two assists against College of Charleston (2/11)…Scored four points on two field goals in the win over NC Central (12/19) while pulling down three rebounds…Grabbed four rebounds in seven minutes in the home win over Drexel (2/9)…Saw nine minutes against NC State (3/16) in the NCAA Tournament, finishing with two points and five rebounds with four of those boards coming on the offensive end.

High School: A three-sport athlete in high school, Maupin had a decorated career in both basketball and volleyball…A three-time team captain of the basketball team, Maupin earned All-Conference honors all four years of her high school career and earned Team MVP as sophomore, junior and senior…Three times an All-State VISAA (Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association) D2 honoree, she earned First Team honors as both a junior and senior…In her junior year, Maupin earned “C. Vivian Stringer” Leadership Award and was named to the Daily Progress All-Central Virginia Girls Basketball First Team…Followed that up with another Daily Progress All-Central Virginia Girls Basketball First Team honor as a senior…Finished her career as The Covenant School’s all-time leading scorer (girls and boys) with 2,256 points…Also tallied 1,778 rebounds in her career…Played club for BWSL Richmond in 10th and 11th grades. 

Other Sports: A four-year volleyball standout, Maupin was a three-time team captain and earned All-Conference honors three times…At season’s end, she won the Team MVP award three times as a sophomore, junior and senior…She also played softball during her freshman year, winning the conference championship while earning the team’s most improved award.
