Named to the CAA All-Rookie Team this season • Earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors on two occasions (Feb. 22 & March 1) • Appeared in all 19 games, making 11 starts • Averaged 8.9 points and 3.3 rebounds, while leading the team in steals (1.4) • Finished third on the team in total points (169) and in field goal percentage (.479) • Ranked second on the team lead in three point field goal percentage (.359) • Played 451 total minutes, fourth most on the team • Ranked sixth in the CAA in steals per game (1.4) • Scored a season-high 27 points on the road against William & Mary • Knocked down a season-best twelve field goals against William & Mary • Dished out a season-high 3 assists versus UNCW

Son of Daniel and Zarinah Burford • His sister Samirah played basketball at Southern Mississippi and his brother Daniel plays basketball at Cornell • Majoring in Finance

Ranked as a top-20 player in Illinois' 2020 class by the Hoops Report and Prep Hoops Illinois • Led Bolingbrook HS to Conference, Regional and Sectional titles during his time with the program • Named to the 1^st Team All-Tournament in both the Decatur Turkey Tournament and the Kingdom of The Sun Holiday Classic in 2018 • Ranked as the No. 36 player of the 2020 class in the Midwest by Midwest Hoops Spotlight • IBCA All-State Selection as a junior.
