Biography

????2023 (Junior):
  • Played in eight games for Elon
  • Finished the year with eight carries for 36 yards, as well as one catch for 14 yards
  • Returned seven kicks for an average of 12.7 yards per return
  • Rushed a season-high six times for 30 yards against Hampton, including a season-long 16-yard carry
  • Had a 14-yard reception at Delaware
  • Posted a season-long 25-yard kick return against Monmouth

2022 (Sophomore):
  • Played in 10 games for the Phoenix
  • Finished the season with 26 carries for 95 yards and two rushing touchdowns
  • Also caught six passes for 61 yards with a receiving touchdown
  • Had touchdowns in thre consecutive games in the middle of the season
  • Carried the ball a season-high seven times at Wofford, finishing with 27 yards on the ground
  • Had a season-high 43 yards rushing against UAlbany on just three carries

2021 (Freshman):

  • Had 13 carries on the season for 26 yards. Also caught a seven-yard pass against William & Mary

  • Appeared in four games at running back
  • Had six carries for 14 yards on the season
  • Also had a kickoff return for 10 yards versus Richmond on March 13
  • Also caught one pass against Davidson on Feb. 20

Prep:
  • A running back at Neumann Goretti High School for head coach Albie Crosby
  • A two-time All-Catholic honoree while also being named an All-City and All-State selection as a senior
  • Also was a member of the track & field team at Neumann Goretti, winning a district championship in the 100-meter dash as a sophomore (10.9 seconds)

  • Son of Mike Griffin and and Tamella Williams
  • Cousin D'Andrew Swift currently is a member of the Detroit Lions
