The Elon University athletic department offers a wide range of career development opportunities through close coordination with the Student Professional Development Center. The goals of these services are to offer career assistance to student-athletes as they navigate their time on campus and embark upon their unique career journeys after graduation. Much of the programming aims to spread awareness on building professional application materials, searching for jobs and internships, developing strong interview skills, and understanding athletically transferable skills that employers seek in ideal candidates.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to support Elon University student-athletes, both current and former, in the career development process, which includes identifying interests, goals and athletically transferable skills that will assist them in succeeding in life after sports participation. In coordination with Elon University athletics, as well as the Student Professional Development Center, we aim to help every student-athlete engage and prepare for life post-graduation.
