Kevin Clements joined the Elon baseball staff in the summer of 2016 after helping Trinity University to a 2016 NCAA Division III World Series title.
His work with Elon hitters helped a trio of Phoenix players to all-CAA accolades following the 2017 campaign.
Clements spent the previous three seasons at his alma mater where he worked with the hitters and infielders. He also spent some time working with the Tiger outfielders. During Clements' stint with Trinity, the Tigers won 117 games and reached the nation's top spot in the polls each year.
In 2016, Trinity compiled a 44-7 overall record on its way to the national corwn. The team led the nation in doubles, runs and slugging percentage and was second in batting average. The team also reached the Division III World Series in 2015 and finished the year raned second nationally in hits and doubles.
As a an infielder and designated hitter at Trinity, Clements was a two-time All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference performer and helped the squad capture three conference titles and make four regional appearances. In 2012, he picked up All-West Region honors.
Clements earned his bachelor's degree in business administration (marketing) from Trinity in 2013.
