2015: Started nine games and made 12 total appearances … Went 3-1 with a 4.33 ERA … Logged 54.0 innings, striking out 39 … Allowed three runs (two earned) and struck out six in a complete game victory over James Madison … Gave up one run on four hits in 6.0 innings of work to defeat #26 College of Charleston.

2014: Made 14 appearances, including starting 10 games … Went 6-3 with a 5.40 ERA over 56.2 innings … Struck out 33 hitters … Picked up the first win of his career after allowing no earned runs in 2.0 innings against Cincinnati … Was the winning pitcher in his first career start, a 6.0 inning outing against Wagner … Fanned six hitters in 7.0 innings in a victory over UMBC … Academic All-Southern Conference honoree.

2013: Red-shirted.

2012: Saw time in 31 games and made 14 starts as a true freshman … Made three appearances on the mound … Went 1-for-2 with a run scored and one RBI in his collegiate debut against Akron … Made his debut on the mound in game one of a doubleheader sweep of George Mason, tossing a third of an inning … Hit his first career homer, a solo shot, in a win over Western Carolina.

Prep: Four-year starter at Chapel Hill High … Earned all-conference honors after hitting .370 with 12 doubles and eight homers as a senior … Collected first-team all-district accolades as a senior … Helped Randy Trumbower’s team to a perfect 10-0 conference mark in 2011 … Was a first-team all-conference selection and collected team MVP accolades after he hit .385 with three homers, 16 doubles, scored 31 runs and drove in 27 as a junior …  Hit .600 with seven extra-base hits in the squad’s seven state playoff games in 2010 … Hepled the team to a Carolina 3A Conference title as the squad posted a school-record 24 victories in 2010 … Team also claimed both the NCHSAA East 3A District and Sectional crowns that season … Was a 2010 North Carolina Gatorade State Games participant … Also played basketball.
