Personal: Full name is Shannon Marie O’Laughlin…Daughter of JJ and Kathleen O'Laughlin…Has two older brothers, Casey and Mike.

2025: Appeared in 24 matches, making 10 starts, and played in 81 sets…Finished the season with 17.0 points (0.21 per set) while recording 39 assists, 17 service aces, and 201 digs…Ranked third on the team with 2.48 digs per set and finished third on the team in total digs…Posted a season-high 23 digs against Bethune-Cookman on Aug. 30…Added seven assists in the same match against Bethune-Cookman at the Elon Phoenix Classic…Recorded multiple service aces in eight matches, including two aces in five-set wins over Radford and Towson…Contributed five digs and an ace in the team’s five-set victory over UNCW on Nov. 9…Provided consistent back-row play throughout conference action, reaching double-digit digs in nine matches.

2024: Made 6 starts in 24 matches with 55 sets played…Finished the season with 37 digs, 13 kills, and 5 assists…Recorded double-digit digs, setting a season-high with 11 digs against Charleston…Set a new career-high in aces with three on two occasions in the team’s wins over Hampton and Presbyterian.

2023: Made two starts in 23 matches and played in 66 sets…Made her season debut at the Charlotte Invitational where she tallied three digs against Charlotte and a career-best 13 digs against Charleston Southern…Totaled 89 digs, 11 aces and 7 assists…Notched two service aces on three occasions and recorded double-digit digs twice.

High School: Was a three-year varsity letter winner for Coach Kathleen O’Laughlin, Coach Eileen Asmussen, and Coach Tee Pimsarn at Fenwick High School…She helped the Friars to four regional championships and one sectional championship…Earned three First-Team All-Conference selections during her four years at Fenwick…She also played club at Adversity Volleyball Club.
