Tyler Moos is currently entering his third year as associate athletic trainer at Elon University in 2023-24. His primary sport responsibilities are baseball and men’s golf.
Prior to Elon, Tyler (aka "Moos") worked at University of North Carolina Greensboro as an assistant athletic trainer providing coverage for the baseball and volleyball teams.
Before college athletics, he spent 10 years in minor league baseball with various organizations including the Cincinnati Reds, Seattle Mariners, and Tampa Bay Rays. He worked with various levels ranging from Advanced A to AAA. In that time, Tyler was named the PBATS Athletic Trainer of the Year three times (Southern League 2017 & 2019; California League 2014). He also completed an internship with Villanova University providing coverage for both the baseball and football teams.
Tyler graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree from Hastings College, and in 2011 with a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Currently he resides in Winston Salem, N.C. with wife Katie and sons Lucas and Landon.
