Helton is in his first season with the Elon Football program as an offensive analyst.
He spent the previous football season as an Offensive Line Assistant/Recruiting Intern at Wake Forest. Working on offensive scouting reports, personnel breakdown and analysis of opponents. Played a vital role in the recruitment of the class of 2025.
From 2022-23, Helton coached the running backs at Bonita Springs HS. Played an integral role in the development of RB Josiah Sessler - in the ‘22 season Sessler averaged 174.9 rushing yards per game. Finishing the season with 1,574 rushing yards, which ranked top 30 in the entire state of Florida.
A native of Fredericksburg, Va. Helton graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management from James Madison University in 2020.
