Jim Cross came to Elon in February of 2017. As Head Athletic Equipment Manager, he oversees all equipment operations for Elon Football.
Before Elon, Cross served as the Assistant Equipment Manager at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA. He also completed internships at Elon from 2007-2008 and William and Mary in 2006-2007. He is also a member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association, and became a Certified Equipment Manager in 2007.
Cross graduated from Elon in 2006 with a degree in Leisure/Sport Management. While at Elon, he served as Head Student Manager for Elon Men's Basketball, and was a two-time Athletic Service MVP.
