Biography

2011-12: Played in 26 games, averaging 8.2 minutes per contest • Averaged 1.5 points and 1.5 assists per game • Finished with seven points and three assists against Davidson on March 4 in the Southern Conference Tournament • Scored six points and dished out four assists in a win over Georgia Southern in the SoCon Tournament on March 3.

2010-11: Saw time in two games before an injury forced him to take a medical red-shirt • Averaged 2.5 points and had seven assists in his two outings.

2009-10: Drained nine field goals and scored a career-high 24 points while also dishing off seven assists in Elon’s season-opening victory at Lipscomb (11/14) • Named SoCon Player of the Week after averaging 19.5 ppg and 5.5 apg in first two contests of the year • Scored in double figures in six contests, including four straight to open the year • Connected on 8-of-12 from the field in Elon’s win against FDU-Florham (11/20); also tallied a personal-best nine assists • Had a strong all-around performance against Charlotte (11/16), scoring 15 points, grabbing five rebounds and adding four assists • Netted 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting against Georgia Southern (2/25) • Elon’s assist leader in 10 games.

2008-09: Saw action in all 31 games while earning the start in 19 contests • Scored in double figures in five games, including a season-high 13 at SoCon foe Western Carolina (1/10) • Dished out 95 assists, the second most on the team • Passed for season-high eight assists against Georgia Southern (2/26) • Hit 5-of-8 from the field at UNC Greensboro (2/28) • Connected on 4-of-6 field goals and 4-of-5 from the charity stripe to help Elon to a victory over Furman (2/9) • Contributed six assists and pulled down a personal-high six rebounds against Samford (1/22) and Furman (2/9).

Prep Career: Led the city of Houston in assists at 9.3 per game while shooting 91 percent from the free throw line as a senior • Second in the city in scoring, pouring in an average of 21.3 points per game, and rated third in the city by shooting 51 percent from three-point range in 2007-08 •  His 4.5 steals per game also ranked fifth in Houston that year • Twice reached the 40-point plateau, with a season-high 41 markers, as a senior • Dished out 16 assists and did not commit a turnover in one contest • First team all-district, all-city and All-Region III honoree • Chosen to participate in the 2008 HABCA All-Star Game • Helped lead coach Dennis Gillespie’s Lamar team to the 5A State Championship Regional Semifinal, knocking off one of the top-10 teams in the state of Texas along the way.
