2024: Made 17 appearances for the Phoenix, including 11 starts in his first season with Elon...Finished second on the Phoenix strikeouts and third most in innings pitched during his first season in the maroon & gold...Made his Elon debut against Navy (02/17)...Struck out four batters in his second outing against #15 North Carolina (02/20) in 1.2 innings of relief...Pitched three innings out of the bullpen in Elon's win over Minnesota (03/15) allowing three hits and no runs...Earned his first win as a Phoenix in Elon's midweek win over USC Upstate (03/26), pitched three innings and struck out a then season high six batters...Pitched five innings in his start against Monmouth (04/19) allowing just one hit and one unearned run while striking out six and walking one...In his final start of the season, had his best outing against the College of Charleston (05/17), going a season high seven innings, allowing five hits and two earned runs while striking out a career high 11 batters and walking one. 

Prior to Elon: 
2023 (Gaston College): Made 16 starts in 18 appearances for Gaston College last season...Finished the season with an 11-4 record in 78.1 innings pitched for the Rhinos...Allowed just four home runs over 296 at-bats against during his time at Gaston College...Opponents hit just .213 against Straniero with a strikeout per game average of 10.69...He finished the season with 93 strikeouts to just 24 walks...His top performance for Gaston came against USC-Salkehatchie (3/25) where he finished a masterful seven innings of shutout baseball with 11 strikeouts, two hits allowerd and no walks.

2022 (UNC-Charlotte): Did not see game action for the 49ers in 2022.
