MT. PLEASANT, SC--Elon College fired a final round total of 311 to finish 10th at the College of Charleston's Cougar Fall Invitational women's golf tournament, which concluded Tuesday at the 5,939-yard, par-72 Patriots Point Golf Links. Elon finished the 54-hole event with a team total of 943.

Angie Baskette was Elon's top individual finisher with a total score of 232 (77-76-79), placing her in a tie for 28th place individually. Other Elon scores included: Megan Tripp (78-81-80=239, Tied 46th), Laura Orlen (85-80-74=239, Tied 46th), Beth Frace (81-82-78=241, Tied 49th), and Amy Johnson (80-79-82=241, Tied 49th).

Charleston Southern won the team competition with a three-round total of 889, five shots better than second-place College of Charleston (894). Charleston Southern also boasted the top two finishers individually, including medalist Patricia Martinson (70-73-70=213).
