ELON COLLEGE, NC - The Fightin' Christians Mackenzie Sisson scored at the 60:00 mark of the second half as Elon defeated the Bulldogs of UNC Asheville 2-0. The Fightin' Christians (3-4, 2-0 Big South) added the insurance goal at 80:00 off the foot of Tracey Early who received a feed from Patricia Clark.

UNC Asheville's (3-6, 0-2 Big South) goalkeeper Mary Elizabeth Scherger recorded four saves in the loss. Goalkeepers Sommer Cork and Meghan Miller tallied one and three saves respectively, also sharing a shutout for in the Fightin' Christians win.

Elon will continue its tour with the Big South opponents as High Point University invades Bakatsias Field on Tuesday, September 28. Kick off is set for 4 pm.
