ELON COLLEGE, NC -- Elon College head women's soccer coach Paul Webster announced Wednesday the signing of Kristen Albert to a National Letter of Intent. She will join an Elon team coming off of a Big South Conference Tournament championship and an appearance in the NCAA Women's Soccer College Cup.

A 5-5 striker and offensive center midfielder from Bow, NH, the team co-captain helped coach Kelly Farrell's Bow High School squad to a pair of Class M Final appearances. Her team's leading scorer during each of the past three seasons, Albert tallied 63 goals and 31 assists while earning first team all-state status twice.

Albert was chosen to play in the New Hampshire Lions Cup All-Star Game and was also selected to the New Hampshire All-Scholastic team.
