Phoenix Women to Play on Television Tonight

CHARLOTTE, NC -— The Big South Conference’s final regular season women’s basketball television game will air Monday night at 9:00 p.m. on the newly formed Big South Television Network (BSTN). Elon, who dropped its first Conference match Saturday, will travel to face Winthrop at the Winthrop Coliseum.

Monday night’s game is part of the Big South’s “Twine at Nine” package. It will be the fourth and final regular season women’s television game. Next week, the “Twine at Nine” package will begin a month of men’s Conference matchups. Both the men’s and women’s tournament semifinals, and the women’s championship will air on the BSTN.

The Elon-Winthrop game will tip-off at 9:00 p.m. EST on the following affiliates: Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (Asheville, N.C.; Birmingham, Ala.; Charleston, S.C.); Horry Telephone Cooperative, Channel 4 (Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Conway, S.C.); Rock Hill Cable, Channel 21 (Rock Hill, S.C.); Time Warner Cable, Greensboro Channel 69/Burlington Channel 67 (Greensboro, N.C./Burlington, N.C.); and on WXIV-TV (Greensboro, N.C.; Danville, Va.).

The game will also be available to fans with a satellite dish. The satellite coordinates for Monday’s game are: KU Band, Galaxy Eleven, Transponder 16.
