ELON, NC -- Elon University women's golf coach Chris Dockrill today announced that Kristin Tremoulis (Lima, OH/Lima Central Catholic) has signed to golf for the Phoenix next year.

Tremoulis has been named First Team Northwest Ohio District in both 2001 and 2002. An Academic All-Ohio selection, she was a medalist at both the sectional and district levels. She recorded four top-10 finishins in national tournaments last season and placed fourth in the PGA Junior Series and fifth in the Ohio Junior Girl's State Championships in 2002. A two-year state qualifier, Tremoulis helped her team to the 2002 sectional and district titles and a fifth place finish in the state. Kristin is the daughter of Edward and Debra Tremoulis and played for Dan Reinicke at Lima Central Catholic.

Elon University is an NCAA Division I member of the Big South Conference and will begin play in the Southern Conference in 2004.
