ELON – The Elon women's golf team returns to action next week at the Bentwater Collegiate, hosted by Kennesaw State at Bentwater Golf Club in Acworth, Georgia. The two-day, 54-hole tournament begins with 36 holes on Monday, followed by the final 18 on Tuesday.
The Phoenix are looking to bounce back from a 14th-place effort in its most recent effort at the Daniel Island Invitational earlier this month. Senior
Ashley Lafontaine continues to play quality golf, having finished 22nd or better – including five top-10 results – in all seven tournaments played in the 2025-26 season.
Freshman
Lara Rieke will make her Elon lineup debut in the No. 5 spot, while
Lilli Downer,
Kelly Zhao and
Emma Hansen are set to play in the 2-4 slots.
Sakura Kawakami will play as an individual.
