In the second game, Chris Tracz (1-0) allowed three earned runs on five hits in five and 1/3 innings for the Red Foxes. He also walked two and fanned six before Chris Homer (one hit, two Ks) pitched the final frame and 2/3 of the seven-inning nightcap to earn a save.

Justin Weeks (0-1) was billed with the game two setback, giving up two runs – neither earned – in four and 2/3 innings. He only surrendered one hit and one walk while striking out two. The Red Foxes only earned one of their six runs in the nightcap as the Phoenix committed two errors to Marist’s one.
