ELON, NC -- The Elon Athletics Foundation will host a celebration to recognize the university's 100th year of excellence in baseball on Saturday, April 20 at Latham Park.

The Phoenix (20-5, 3-0 Big South Conference) will host league rival High Point that day in a noon doubleheader. The EAF will hold a luncheon at the Latham Park/Rhodes Stadium entrance at 12:30 beside Newsome Field.

Elon baseball greats Sherrill Hall '55 and Paul Briggs '37 are slated to throw out the ceremonial first pitches. A ceremony recognizing Hall, Briggs and other attending baseball alumni will take place on the field between games.

Members of the baseball alumni will receive a complimentary lunch that afternoon. All other guests will pay a mere $8.00 for their meals. Please RSVP to (336) 278-6800 by April 18.
