SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Southern Conference today named Elon University senior Morgan Olds (Stamford, Conn./Stamford) its Women's Golfer of the Week for the fourth consecutive week.

She fired an even-par 72 to lift Elon to a fifth-place finish at the 16-team Bonnie Hoover Invitational women's golf tournament Sunday afternoon on the 6,046-yard Lakeview Golf Club course in Harrisonburg, Va. Olds (79-77-72–228) finished in a tie for 10th place in the 87-golfer field to pace the Phoenix (315-312-299–926) to the team's best round of the season. She was the top Southern Conference finisher in the tournament.

For the season, Olds has amassed eight top-20 finishes, six top-10 places, four top-five finishes and two titles. She finished among the top 10 golfers in all five of Elon's spring tournaments after placing in the top-10 in just one of the team's five fall events. Olds has represented Elon in all 10 of its tournaments during the 2004-05 campaign, firing a program-best 76.55 average for 22 rounds.
