Goss, Elon's second baseman, has started in 49 games this season and is currently batting .288. She has struck out just 13 times in 156 at-bats while slugging .378. She sits in a tie for second in the league with five triples and ranks 22nd in the country with 0.11 triples per game. She also leads the team with 32 runs scored and 11 stolen bases.
Goss tallied a season-high 13-game hitting streak from Feb. 18 until March 17.
On April 19, Goss became Elon's all-time assists leader when she tallied two helpers against North Carolina State. She currently posts 343 assists in her career. This season, Goss has registered 97 assists and 110 putouts at second base with just five errors.
Goss was named the TIAA-CREF Southern Conference Student-Athlete of the Week on March 1.
Goss and the rest of the Elon squad takes on Georgia Southern Thursday at 11 a.m. in the first round of the Southern Conference Championship.
