LUBBOCK, Texas -- Elon's junior outfielder
Cory Harrilchak (Cary, N.C.) was named to the College Baseball Foundation's "National All-Star Lineup" after helping lead the Phoenix to a 3-1 week, including a three-game league sweep of Georgia Southern.
In the three games in which he appeared as a hitter, Harrilchak batted .714 (10-for-14) with seven runs scored and six RBI. He posted a career-best four hits, including an inside-the-park homer, in a 9-6 victory over Georgia Southern on April 4. In Elon's 11-10 win over the Eagles, Harrilchak scored the game-winning run while going 3-for-4 at the plate. In the series finale, Harrilchak went 3-for-5 and drove home a career-best four runs. Harrilchak scored a career-high three runs twice during the weekend series.
