Quick Notes
• Elon leads the all-time series with the Aggies 30-8 and has been the victor in six of the past seven meetings between the schools. Elon took a pair of decisions from N.C. A&T last season.
• Last season against the Aggies,
Danielle Lafferty went 2-for-2 at the plate with three RBI and two runs scored.
Kaitlyn Piazzolla and
Ashlee Crewe each belted a home run and combined for four runs scored and three RBI over two games.
• The Phoenix reached the 20-win plateau on Sunday afternoon with a 5-4 win in the rubber game against College of Charleston. Despite leading for the entire game, it was
Pam DelPizzo’s RBI-single that was the difference. Without it, CofC would have tied the game as it put two runs up in the top of the seventh.
