ELON, N.C. – Phoenix Club members will have several chances to give the 2010 Elon football team a home field advantage even when the Phoenix is on the road. The Phoenix Club will host bus trips and tailgate events at Duke (Sept. 4), Richmond (Sept. 18) and Appalachian State (Oct. 9).

The opportunity to order tickets and tailgate packages through the Elon Department of Athletics is reserved for Phoenix Club members. All ticket packages are subject to availability and will be assigned based on the Phoenix Club Priority Point System. Pricing information is included on the order form at the top of the page.

Elon opens the 2010 season with a short trip down I-40 to take on the Duke Blue Devils on September 4 at 7 p.m. The bus will depart from Elon at 4 p.m. and the tailgate will begin at 5 p.m. in the Intramural Building next to Wallace Wade Stadium.

There are only a limited number of tickets still available to see the 2009 FCS Playoff rematch between the Phoenix and the Spiders as Elon opens Richmond’s brand new stadium on September 18. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. with the bus scheduled to leave Elon at 7:30 a.m. Fans will make a stop at City Limit restaurant for a pregame tailgate prior to the contest.

On October 9, travel up the mountain with the Phoenix Club to cheer Elon to victory over the five-time defending Southern Conference champion Appalachian State Mountaineers. With the game time set for 3 p.m., the bus will leave at 10 a.m. and make a stop at Sagebrush restaurant prior to the opening kick.
