ELON, N.C. – With fall sport seasons just around the corner, Elon will host its annual Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, August 18 during its preseason football scrimmage. The gates at Rhodes Stadium will open at 2:30 with the scrimmage set to begin at 3 p.m. Season ticket holders are invited to pick up their tickets at the event.

Children will have a chance to play in the Phoenix Fun Zone, which will feature inflatables, face painting and coloring stations, and can also register to be part of the Elon Kids Club. Hot dogs, drinks and snacks will be sold for only $1 apiece and fans can sign up to win Elon prize packs which will be given away throughout the event. Fall sport posters and schedule cards will be available and the Phoenix football players will be on hand to sign autographs immediately following the scrimmage.

To make sure you don’t miss a minute of the action on the gridiron in 2012, both season and individual game tickets will be available for purchase.
