Complete Rankings

ELON, N.C. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released its first national rankings of 2014 today, Jan. 2, and the Elon University women's tennis team earned a No. 74 national ranking. In addition, senior Jordan Johnston came in at No. 69 in the national singles rankings.
 
The Phoenix finished last season with a program-record 21 victories and an 8-2 mark in Southern Conference play. Elon finished runner-up in the SoCon Tournament as well.
 
A first-team All-Southern Conference selection last year in singles and doubles, Johnston tallied 15 victories last season at the No. 1 position for the Phoenix, including six against league competition. In doubles, Johnston and teammate Frida Jansaker teamed up for an overall record of 22-2.
