ELON, N.C. – Elon University head women's tennis coach
Elizabeth Anderson announced the signing of Suzanne Zenoni for the 2016 season on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
"We are very excited that Suzanne will be joining our team in the fall," said Anderson. "I am confident she will be an outstanding addition both in the classroom and on the court. She is a tremendous athlete, hard worker and great competitor."
A native of Marietta, Ga., Zenoni is the 75th-ranked player on tennisrecruiting.net and was the Georgia Qualifier singles and doubles champion this past year. Zenoni is the third-ranked player in the state of Georgia and was a finalist in the Winter Southern Closed competition this past year. She competes at the Universal Tennis Academy under the direction of coach Patti O'Reilly.
At Walton High School, Zenoni is a three-year letterwinner and the No. 1 singles player for her squad. She helped Walton to the 2014 Georgia Class 6A State Championship and was named the Most Valuable Singles Player at the National DecoTurf Team Championships.
