ELON, N.C. – The Elon University men's soccer program and head coach Chris Little has unveiled its 2016 spring schedule as announced on Wednesday, March 2. The five-game slate begins this weekend at Rhodes Stadium as the Phoenix hosts the Wilmington Hammerheads of the United Soccer League at 3 p.m.
 
The Phoenix then hosts its second match of the spring as the Phoenix welcomes Triad rival High Point to Elon on March 17 at 7:30 p.m. The maroon and gold will then participate at the UNCG Tournament on April 2.
 
On April 9, Elon takes part in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Showcase in Bryan Park in Greensboro, N.C., as the maroon and gold plays Wake Forest at 5 p.m. Last season, the Phoenix earned a 1-0 win at the seventh-ranked Demon Deacons, its fourth straight shutout victory over Wake Forest.
 
Elon closes out the spring campaign with a contest at UNCG on April 19 at 7 p.m.
