Pair Near National Stats Lead
Nick Zammarelli and Kyle Jackson are both having solid 2016 seasons and are both near the top of a couple of NCAA statistical rankings (thru games of April 5). Zammarelli currently has 15 doubles to rank second in the nation, just two behind the leader. Jackson's nine home runs rate 11th, while his 12 doubles rank 21st. He also rates 23rd in total bases and 24th in slugging percentage.

Consecutive Two-Out Runs
Over the course of the first two games of its series against Charleston, Elon scored 10 consecutive runs with two outs. The final eight of the Phoenix's runs in Friday's 9-6 victory all came with two outs, as did both runs in Saturday's 6-2 setback. The streak was snapped when Liam O'Regan led off the second inning with a home run on Sunday.

On Deck
Elon will return home to Latham Park to take on North Carolina State on Tuesday, April 12, at 6:30 p.m.
