ELON, N.C. – Due to the threat of inclement weather tonight and tomorrow morning, Elon baseball's 2016 regular season finale against Richmond scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, has been cancelled.

Also figuring in to the decision to cancel was that Elon University will hold graduation ceremonies on Saturday morning so the game can not be moved earlier in the day. The forecast calls for more rain to move in tomorrow evening.

Elon ends the regular season with a 25-27 overall record and will enter the 2016 CAA Tournament as the third seed. The Phoenix will play game two of the tournament on Wednesday, May 25, at 3:30 p.m. against sixth-seeded College of Charleston.
