ELON, N.C. – Elon University men's basketball is back in action on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, for a noon matchup with UT Arlington at Schar Center.

• This marks the first time that Elon and UT Arlington will meet in program history.

• So far this season, Elon is off to a 2-5 start, with both wins on the year coming at Schar Center.

SCOUTING UT ARLINGTON
• UT Arlington is a Division I institution out of Arlington, Texas that competes in the Sun Belt Conference (SBC).
• The Mavericks are off to a 3-4 start this season, boasting wins over UT Dallas, Tulsa and Arkansas Tech respectively. Three of UT Arlington's four losses on the season all came on the road against Power 5 opponents in Nevada, No. 14 Oregon and No. 8 Gonzaga.
• UT Arlington is in its second season under head coach Chris Ogden, who led the team to a Sun Belt Conference Championship appearance in his first season at the helm.
• The Mavericks are led by forward Jabari Narcis, who leads the team in rebounding at 8.2 per game, while ranking second on the team in scoring at 12.0 points per game.

• In its most recent outing, Elon fell to Furman 97-61 on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
• The Phoenix was led by junior forward
