ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women's golf program and head coach Chris Dockrill, entering his 20th season leading the Phoenix, announced the team's 2019 fall schedule on Friday, August 2.

"I am very excited about our fall season," said Dockrill. "We have changed our schedule and the team is looking forward to hosting our first event at Alamance Country Club. With leadership from Adel Vadkerti, Rae Spears, and Haley Bookholdt, we look forward to a strong season and a run at the conference championship."

Elon begins its fall season at the Golfweek Program Challenge in Myrtle Beach, S.C., set for Sept. 8-10. It will be the first time the maroon and gold have played in the tournament since Sept. 11-13, 2016. Two weeks later, the Phoenix will host its inaugural Elon Invitational on its home course. The invite is scheduled for Sept. 23-24 at Alamance CC.

October sees the team heading south to Jacksonville, Ala. for the Jacksonville State Invitational on Oct. 7-8. The Phoenix then rounds out its fall slate at the Palmetto Intercollegiate, hosted by College of Charleston on Oct. 13-15 at the Turtle Point Golf Course on Kiawah Island, S.C.
