ELON, N.C. – Elon University women's tennis rounded out day three of the Elon Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 15.
 
THE RUNDOWN
In singles play, Nicole Shiau defeated Ivana Dragovic of NCCU in straight sets. Her 6-0 and 6-3 result gave her wins one back-to-back days, after she defeated Roberta Armani of USC Upstate yesterday.

In doubles play, Alex Koniaev and Uma Nayar highlighted day three, winning the top double flight of the tournament. Nayar and Koniaev teamed up to win their match 6-0 over ETSU's Andrea Pascual and Maria Carvijal.
 
Olivia Archer and Sofia Edo combined to defeat NCCU's Sofia Miller and Emily Pena to win the finals of the Powell Doubles bracket. The pair was dominant, winning the finals of the flight 6-1.
