ELON, N.C. – Now 6-1-1 on the season for the first since 2015, Elon University women's soccer travels to Greensboro, N.C. for a 7 p.m. matchup with the Spartans on Thursday, Sept. 19.

- Elon defeated Hampton 8-0 on Sunday, Sept. 15, behind a strong offensive performance throughout. Claire Broderdorp led the way, scoring two goals for the Phoenix on Sunday. Carson Jones, Taylor Paradoski, Sarah Bevington, Laura Mitchell, Avery Davis and Jessica Carrieri also each scored a goal in the victory.

SCOUTING UNCG
- UNC Greenboro enters its sixth season under head coach Michael Coll, and currently sit at 1-5-1 on the season.
- In its most recent outing, UNCG defeated Gardner Webb 6-0 to pick up its first victory of the season.
- Nicole Souply leads the team in goals with two and points with five.

- Sarah Bevington ranks second on the team in points with seven, scoring three goals and adding one assist this season.
- Taylor Paradoski has two goals and an assist so far for the Phoenix, ranking third on the team in points with five.
- Keeper Katrin Hauksdottir has five wins in goal for the Phoenix, providing 13 saves so far this season.
- The Phoenix currently hold the best record in the CAA at 6-1-1, while also holding the best win percentage at .812.
- Elon is currently ranks first in the CAA in goals scored (21) and in fewest goals allowed (6).

CAA AWARDS
- Junior Carson Jones was named as the CAA Player of the Week on Sept. 9, after scoring two goals in wins over Richmond and UNC Asheville respectively.
- Freshman Beky Myers earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors on Sept. 9, after recording her first collegiate assist in a win over Richmond and scoring her first collegiate goal in a win over UNC Asheville.
- Freshman Bethany Harford was named the CAA Rookie of the Week on Aug. 26, after scoring the game-winning goal in a 1-0 overtime win over Canisius.
- Elon was picked to finish ninth in the CAA for this upcoming season, the league announced in their preseason poll.
- Hannah Doherty was picked as a Preseason All-CAA honoree for the upcoming 2019-20 season, after earning CAA Second Team accolades last year.
