ELON, N.C. – Now 6-2-1 on the season for the first since 2010, Elon University women's soccer welcomes UNCW to Rudd Field in Elon, N.C., for its conference opener at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19.

Carson Jones leads the team in goals with five, as well as in total points with ten
- Jessica Carrieri ranks second on the team in points with eight, scoring three goals and adding two assists this season.
- Keeper Katrin Hauksdottir has five wins in goal for the Phoenix, providing 19 saves so far this season.
- The Phoenix currently hold the best record in the CAA at 6-2-1, while also holding the best win percentage at .722.
- Elon also leads the league in goals scored (24) and goal differential (+14)

CAA AWARDS
- Junior Carson Jones was named as the CAA Player of the Week on Sept. 9, after scoring two goals in wins over Richmond and UNC Asheville respectively.
- Freshman Beky Myers earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors on Sept. 9, after recording her first collegiate assist in a win over Richmond and scoring her first collegiate goal in a win over UNC Asheville.
- Freshman Bethany Harford was named the CAA Rookie of the Week on Aug. 26, after scoring the game-winning goal in a 1-0 overtime win over Canisius.
- Elon was picked to finish ninth in the CAA for this upcoming season, the league announced in their preseason poll.
- Hannah Doherty was picked as a Preseason All-CAA honoree for the upcoming 2019-20 season, after earning CAA Second Team accolades last year.

UP NEXT
- The Phoenix kicks off CAA play against UNCW on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m. at Rudd Field. Elon will then travel to Hempstead, N.Y. for a noon matchup with Hofstra on Sunday, Sept. 29.
