ELON, N.C. – Make your plans today to attend the 2019 Elon Sports Hall of Fame Induction ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 7. Four former Elon standouts will be inducted in a ceremony inside of Schar Center at 11 a.m. with the ceremony free and open to the public.

The 49th Sports Hall of Fame class includes women's basketball's Jayme Chikos '03, women's tennis's Anna Milian '10, women's soccer's Erin Morse '00 and football's Scott Riddle '11. For more on the three inductees, click here. The group will also be recognized at halftime of Elon's home football opener against The Citadel later that afternoon.

The ceremony inside Schar Center is open to anyone wishing to attend. Elon Athletics invites current members of the Elon Sports Hall of Fame that attend the ceremony to take advantage of two (2) complimentary tickets to the Elon vs. The Citadel football game at 2 p.m. Saturday. Those that attend the ceremony will also receive complimentary parking in the Hunt B parking lot (behind Schar Center).

After the ceremony and before the football game, Elon Athletics will host a tailgate for all Hall of Fame members and their families. The tailgate will begin at 12:00 p.m. and will be held in front of Schar Center on the Drummond Plaza. The tailgate will cost $15 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. Food and soft drinks will be provided at the tailgate. Feel free to bring other food and beverages that you would like to enjoy at the tailgate. Preregistration for the tailgate is required.
