ELON – Elon Athletics generated a program-record $856,307 in philanthropic support during the 13th annual Elon Day earlier this month, as the global Elon University community came together for a day of engagement, investment and connection.
 
More than 900 total donors – including 185 former student-athletes and 120 current student-athlete parents – supported Elon Athletics during this year's Elon Day, helping increase the department's fundraising total by 17% compared to last year's event. Contributions impacted all 17 teams and programs, directly advancing competitive excellence and the department's long-term strategic priorities.
 
"The Elon family is truly extraordinary, and initiatives like Elon Day showcase the power of this incredible community," said Director of Athletics Jenn Strawley. "I am deeply grateful to all our supporters for their continued investment in our student-athletes. This generosity has a transformational impact across every aspect of our athletics program and brings our vision to life. On behalf of our student-athletes, coaches, and staff, thank you for your support of Elon Athletics."
 
University-wide, Elon Day generated 6,214 gifts totaling a record $3.58 million in support of 276 funds and initiatives across campus.
