ELON, N.C. – The Elon University men's tennis team will travel to Winston-Salem to take on #11 Wake Forest on Saturday, March 13. The match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

ABOUT THE PHOENIX
-Elon comes into the match with an 8-1 record, including an undefeated record at home (7-0).Â
-The maroon and gold are currently on a 29-match win streak at Jimmy Powell Tennis Center, which dates back to the 2017-18 season.Â
-The Phoenix posted a 5-2 win over William & Mary in its last match on March 7.

Camilo Ponce and
Nicholas Campbell clinched the doubles point with a 6-2 victory over Daniel Pellerito and Finbar Talcott in the No. 3 spot.
-Akram El-Sallaly clinched the match with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Sebastian Quiros in No. 3 singles.
-
Kyle Frankel improved to 8-0 on the season in singles with a 6-3, 6-0 over Brenden Volk in the No. 1 spot.
-In No. 6 singles,
Chung-Han Tsai recorded his first singles victory of the season with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Talcott.
-Ponce earned a 6-3, 6-4 victory over George Davis in No. 4 singles.
-The Phoenix is led by 17

-The Demon Deacons enter the match ranked 11
th in the Oracle/ITA team rankings.
-As of Mar. 11, Wake Forest has a 13-4 record on the season. They will face #44 Miami on Friday, March 12 and Florida State on Saturday, March 13.
