-Elon comes into the game with a 7-0 (2-0 CAA) record, ranking 17
th in the latest Inside Lacrosse poll and 25
th in the most recent Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Coaches poll.
-The Phoenix registered its second Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) win of the season on Saturday, April 3 when it recorded a nine-goal win against William & Mary (15-6).
Mae McGlynn and
Sara Bouwman finished with game highs in scoring, posting five goals apiece. Both of their totals match their career highs. McGlynn also paced the team in assists (3), finishing the game with a personal-best eight points.
-In goal,
Paulina DiFatta (7-0) posted a season-high 13 saves.
-For their performances against Longwood and William & Mary last week, McGlynn and goalie DiFatta earned CAA Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the week honors.
-Elon is led by eighth-year head coach
Josh Hexter.
SCOUTING VCU
-The Rams are 6-5 (2-2 A10) on the season.
-VCU fell to Davidson in its last game, 15-9. Keriann McTavish scored a team-high three goals and added an assist, while Gillian Belfiore made 14 saves and led the team three ground balls (3).
-The head coach of the Rams is Jen O'Brien.
