THE SERIES
-The Dukes lead the overall series, 7-1.
-Elon made history in its last matchup against James Madison earlier this season on March 7 when it defeated the Dukes for the first time in program history, 6-5. The victory was also the Phoenix's fifth all-time win against nationally-ranked opponents, improving the program record to 5-33 against top 25 teams.

-Elon comes into the game with an 8-1 (2-0 CAA) record, ranking 23rd in Rating Percentage Index (RPI) in addition to receiving votes in the most recent Inside Lacrosse and Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Coaches polls.
-The maroon and gold suffered its first loss of the season on April 14 when it fell to Virginia Tech, 10-5.

Mae McGlynn led the Elon offense, posting her third consecutive hat trick in addition to picking up a pair of ground balls and causing two turnovers.

SCOUTING JAMES MADISON
-The Dukes hold an 8-4 (2-1 CAA) record on the season, ranking 31st in RPI, 25th in the latest IWLCA Coaches Poll and receiving votes in the Inside Lacrosse poll.
-JMU posted a 13-goal win against William & Mary on April 23 (21-8). Isabella Peterson recorded a season-high five goals and five draw controls, while Katie Checkosky tallied a eight points off two goals and six assists. Both Checkosky's points and assists were career highs.
-The head coach of the James Madison is Shelley Klaes.
