ELON, N.C. – Elon University women's tennis earned a top-10 ranking in the Carolina Region, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced on Wednesday, June 9.

The Phoenix rounded out its 2020-21 season with a 17-5 overall record and a berth to the CAA Tournament semifinals. Throughout the season, Elon picked up key victories over several CAA opponents in Towson, UNCW, Charleston and William & Mary – marking the first time in program history the Phoenix defeated the Tribe in a dual match. Individually, four Phoenix earned All-CAA honors in
Lizette Reding (Rookie of the Year; Second Team All-CAA; Third Team All-CAA Doubles),
Sibel Tanik (First Team All-CAA),
Victoria Saldh (Third Team All-CAA) and
Alison O'Dea (Third Team All-CAA Doubles).
