ELON, N.C. – Elon University women's tennis earned a top-10 ranking in the Carolina Region, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced on Wednesday, June 9.
 
"I'm really proud of our team for their strong work this year and for being in the top 10 in our region," head coach Elizabeth Anderson stated. "We have an extremely competitive region and it's an honor to be recognized."
 
The Phoenix rounded out its 2020-21 season with a 17-5 overall record and a berth to the CAA Tournament semifinals. Throughout the season, Elon picked up key victories over several CAA opponents in Towson, UNCW, Charleston and William & Mary – marking the first time in program history the Phoenix defeated the Tribe in a dual match. Individually, four Phoenix earned All-CAA honors in Lizette Reding (Rookie of the Year; Second Team All-CAA; Third Team All-CAA Doubles), Sibel Tanik (First Team All-CAA), Victoria Saldh (Third Team All-CAA) and Alison O'Dea (Third Team All-CAA Doubles).
